Anywhere on the parkway is beautiful! If you are visiting in the summertime, be sure to bring a light sweater or jacket. Temperatures can be 10-15 degrees cooler than in town. Our favorite thing to do is to take a picnic supper, buy a Mountaineer newspaper and park at one of the overlooks to tailgate! And yes, it's even pretty in the rain.
