The other harbour in Cannes, the Canto is a bit more calm and lesser known. I highly recommend to do some yacht-spotting, while drink something seaside and have a nice stroll with less tourists around.

The festival attracts an international crowd, with about 50% of the attendees coming from overseas. It takes place in two locations: the Vieux Port (the Old Port) and the Port Pierre Canto.
