Butler Peak Trail is a 9.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Big Bear City, CA that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Hike to this one and you'll be rewarded by some amazing views of the San Bernardino Mountains! Shoes and water, compass and food for sure.

Butler Peak Trail is a 10 mile near Big Bear City, that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, running, mountain biking, and backpacking and is best used from April until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The San Bernardino National Forest has seven historic high-altitude fire lookout posts which you can visit for amazing views of the surrounding forests and Big Bear Lake.
