We love this hike, because it's not very long, but has a gorgeous view of the Lanikai beach and Mokulua Islands.

A short hike to old World War II pillbox installations to monitor incoming Japanese attacks. One of the best places for a picturesque sunrise photo from the islands. I would not recommend making the steep initial climb with any rains. Hiking during that time causes erosion and damage to the hillside. Parking is limited so go early and again a weekday activity is preferred over weekend.
