Located about 9 km southeast of Tripolis, a small but very contemporary with many special technological presentations- one of the best local archaeological museums in Greece. Tegea was the most powerful city in ancient Arcadia and this modern museum beautifully showcases selected pieces from its Neolithic period up to Late Roman times. The museum comprises 4 galleries and an outdoor sculpture exhibition of inscriptions and grave steles. A text is provided in both Greek and English.
