Coba was a Mayan city and is ideal for those who want to learn about Mayan culture and visit an archeological site which is not that crowded like Tulum and Chichen itzá.

I prefer these ruins to the ruins in tulum. There is more to see and you can walk up and go into them. If you go make a stop in Coqui Coqui.

Ruins deep in the mayan jungle. A little bit away from the tourists and you can still climb these ones!
