To get there it’s a little bit of a hike but well worth it. The lake is the perfect size for families or for groups or even as an individual. You can rent kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and canoes. The lake is wonderful to swim in and as long as there’s not a burn ban in effect you can barbecue there as well. Some days there are food trucks there also.

If you are not a Boerne resident, there will be a small fee upon entrance but this is a great place to picnic, sand volleyball courts, swim, kayak and fish. No motor sports allowed on this lake.

Great place to fish and swim , this beautiful Park on Boerne Lake is a great place to take the kids ,with a playground area, fishing pier, even a boat dock. lovely walking trails, BBQ's and picnic tables. Don't miss out on the butterfly garden! Clear water with great access from the entire shoreline to float or swim.Kayaks and paddle boards are also available to rent to paddle out on the lake you can even take your own!
