The Orrido ("gorge" or small canyon) was formed by through erosion. It's a waterfall, hidden in the mountain, you would never expect such a breathtaking scene. There are picnic areas and on a hot day it's just the coolest place to be. Really worth visit if you have the time!

L'Orrido di Bellano is an impressive natural gorge right in the centre of Bellano. There are stairs and a narrow footpaths all throughout the gorge. The water colors are a beautiful green/blue and you can see where it gradually carved a path down the mountain. It's not stroller friendly if coming with little ones, you’ll need a baby carrier. Price: 5 euro
