The Contemporary Theater Company, located in Historic Downtown Wakefield, is open year-round with mainstage productions as well as outdoor summer Shakespeare, family shows, improv comedy, new work, classes and summer camps, and special events. There's something for everyone!

Great local theater with mainstage shows, as well as fun improv nights and special events.

We are lucky to have this theater in town. I love Friday night improv for only $8 ($5 with a coupon!). Also, Shakespeare on the river is great in the summer--and FREE!
