Best bakery in area, with small indoor cafe area and a couple of outdoor tables. Good spot for eat in or take out. Pretty Ford directly outside and great playground for kids beyond the Ford.

The breads are wonderful and the apple slices are so worth the short bike ride out to enjoy.

We love calling in here for a cuppa or just to buy our bread. Run by a Swedish couple the bread and cakes are excellent. You can sit out by the village beck most of the year. In the summer they open on Sundays too. Hovingham is a pretty estate village about 15 minute from Malton.

We stop here after a walk in the local area. They do fantastic pastries, pasties, bread and cakes. Be sure to go early to avoid disappointment. Between 10 and 12:30.
