The Grove Park Inn has everything to offer: restaurants, shopping, bars, entertainment, luxury spa, golf, etc. The seasonal gingerbread house display is a must-see, legendary exhibit. There is a $20 fee to park at the Inn.

Huge historic inn where you can go enjoy the evening. Great sunset views overlooking downtown Asheville. They have a few restaurants with all varieties of fare. Parking is not free but if you park near the "Golden Fleece" you can walk from there and it is free.

This is one of Asheville's Iconic spots. Beautiful sunset views from the terrace and in the winter ginger bread competitions and fireplaces big enough for Volkswagens to park in.

This is a must and you can get away with a drink outside and enjoy the views or really splurge at one of several great restaurants. Check out cost per night and incredible spa package. The come back here and revel in how much you saved. LOL

--Watch the sunset from the patio (perhaps with a drink from their bar). --Do visit the Grovewood Gallery behind the hotel, as well as the antique car museum. --If it's Christmastime, check out the Gingerbread House competition. But be sure to check the hours on their web site for this.
