Another local favorite, Shine Eye is a nice swimming hole that is located on Hwy 65 in between Gilbert and Grinder’s Ferry River Access.

This is a good place to swim and play in the sand and access the river. Also nearby there is an access point on the Buffalo National River Trail that will lead back to Gilbert or Tyler Bend.
