This is the best place for a hearty Puerto Rican lunch that won't break the bank! With roasted chicken, fried pork and pork ribs, rice and beans, yuca, codfish, soups and veggies. If you're a pig eating carnivore try the BBQ pork ribs -yum!-the meat is nicely flavored and so tender it falls off the bone. They also serve breakfast, espresso coffee, and good sandwiches. They'll even do an almond milk latte! Plus the people there are lovely. Def one of our favs. Just this December 2021, the Puertorrican Bakery opened a new branch in our neighborhood. “The Puertorrican Bakery II” is here in Fortuna (pictured), just down the hill from us across Rt 3, on the north/beach side of the street. It’s got a nice seating area with a/c, friendly service and all of the options and quality of the first. This is Fortuna’s only bakery so we’re delighted it’s a good one!

What a great little find we found when we moved here! Everything was absolutely delicious, from the pastries to the breakfast sandwiches! Their lunch options are authentic and delicious.
