The food is faultless and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect, makes for an enjoyable evening.

The rustic Italian food is delicious. Personal favourite is the Ragu.. Extremely popular and you need to book at least a week in advance but well worth the wait! There is also a sister restaurant now open in the Ancoats area of Central Manchester which is larger.

Sugo is my absolute favourite restaurant in Altrincham serving really authentic Tuscan Italian food. The restaurant is compact, with refectory-style tables, so be prepared to sit next to other restaurant goers - we love it for the informality. Foodies will love its authenticity and 'as you find us' ambience. We love it and the menu changes every month which keeps us coming back for more! Because it is small, it gets booked up quickly, but they tend to keep a couple of spaces free for walk-ins - avoid disappointment by booking.
