Traditional pub restaurant, ambience is a bit rough & ready, food is great, popular with locals and welcomes dogs. A 15-20 minute stroll from the bungalow.

The Crown is a traditional pub with a twist. It offers great traditional pub grub plus a selection of lovely French bistro dishes, authentically put together by the French proprietor Vanessa. It it extremely unfussy and reasonably priced while having a lovely warm welcoming atmosphere.

Great independent pub - French owned with french influence to the menu. Great beer, great food, loved locally.

To the left at the bottom of the garden and about 10 mins walk over the roundabout and under the railway bridge lies The Crown at Bathford. It’s a really cool pub serving really good brasserie-style food (it is French owned) in a very relaxed environment with awesome staff. There is an enclosed garden to the rear too. Also recommended
