For some nighttime discovery, visit the Oregon Observatory, where telescopes and interpretive programs give you a unique window to the stars.

Fun place to visit and learn about the high desert landscape and wildlife. You can see some rescued owls and birds, plus visit lake aspen wildlife sanctuary behind the nature center where you can often see deer and the local swan family.

The high desert sky at night is amazing, but when they set up the many telescopes at the Oregon Observatory, you feel like the stars and planets are right next to you! During the daytime, visit with local wildlife, including birds of prey and Trumpeter Swans.
