Pulpit Rock or Preikestolen in Norwegian is the most beautiful lookout in the vicinity. Just a 40 minute drive from Stavanger, but you can also take a bus and ferry. The walk up is about 2 and a half hours (1,5h - 2h if you are in very good physical condition), but beautiful and a good workout. You will never forget the view. The walk down takes only about 45 minutes.

A must! Book a bus ticket with gofjords. From November to February you should consider a guided tour for safety.

Another famous place to visit. Could be done in one day. Access pretty easy after the making of sherpa stairs.

say no more- fantastic place- but a bit over populated! Last seen in the movie Mission impossible that came out in 2019.
