A beautifully restored Michigan lighthouse in the dunes. It's worth a stop.

Located just north of Frankfort the lighthouse is a step back in time. The original 1858 lighthouse, keeper’s residence, fog signal building, and Boathouse Museum are open to the public. The beach at the lighthouse is a family favorite for rock collecting (the pebbles in the fireplace are from Point Betsie).
