The closest place where you can visit the doctor if it is not an emergency is Veselības centrs 4 at Kr. Barona 117. It is just 850 meters away and you can either walk or drive there (taking tram doesn’t make sense).It is open 8am – 8 pm in working days / 9 am – 2 pm on Saturday and is closed on Sunday. Phone to register for the visit is 67847100 (might be difficult to reach them sometimes, just call again and again then). The website is vc4.lv and there are also versions in English and Russian. VC4 accepts foreigners too – last year one of our guests visited the GP and paid around 30-40 eur for the visit. Please take the ID to register for the visit.
