Walking distance - Mexican or traditional Costa Rican - Enchiladas, fajitas, tacos, burritos, or quesadillas, fish tacos, arroz con pollo (chicken with rice), ceviche, grilled fish, and shrimp in coconut sauce. La Choza de Alejo is also known for its warm and friendly service. The restaurant is owned and operated by a local family.

It's a short walk to the end of the street and one of the best Mexican food Restaurants in the area. Alex, the owner, is usually there and happy to speak with the guests. He's delightful and has an excellent staff.
