Great country food and an excellent atmosphere. This is a local favourite and if your staying on a Sunday, well worth booking in for a roast.

5 mins drive from Bowness-on-Windermere, with nice outside seating and very nice food

Our favourite eatery and a 45 minute walk across the fells if you want to build an appetite. Sunday lunch a favourite. Eat outside on a sunny day in their beer garden.

The nearest, walkable pub to the Damson Shepherds Hut. Good food, needs booking.
