The WA Shipwrecks Museum is an excellent maritime archaeology museum close to the maritime museum. Hundreds of relics from ships wrecked along WA’s coastline, including the original timbers from Batavia (wrecked in 1629). There are are also many artefacts from other early Dutch, French & English explorers.
