A true oasis tucked in to the middle of an unassuming neighbourhood shopping centre, Two Birds is a diamond in the rough for those wanting healthy, wholesome meal options on the go. Users of Raglan Roast beans, Two Birds doesn’t mind which way you have it, and is one of a very few places not to charge you extra for alternative milks – soy, almond, rice or coconut, you could mix it up each time you visit! All about giving customers a quality lunch option, choose from a menu that shouts wholesome – bowls of beans, rice, salsa and veges for the savoury eaters (with free range meat if you’re interested) or Pinterest worthy smoothie bowls for early morning visitors, to name but a few. The cabinet out front is stacked with raw, gluten free and vegan slices which make any earlier thoughts about skipping to the dairy for a chocolate bar totally redundant. Big communal tables inside make it an easy spot to bring the whole work team, although the spacious sunny courtyard is a popular spot on a good day too. Pots of greenery hanging from the roof and a garden abundant with plants give a meal out here the feel like your miles away from busy Hamilton town. Helping with the overall vibe are the young laid-back staff who emit the kind of happy, healthy ethos that Two Birds is so big on. A place where the food really does the talking, come to Two Birds for a beautifully prepared lunch or breakfast that’ll fuel you for the rest of the day and beyond.
