No, you won't find The Inn at Spanish Bay and The Lodge here but at THIS Pebble Beach, (at Sea Ranch Mile marker 52.29) you will find a wonderful beach with small sheltered cove with lots of great tide pools. Check the local tide pools and be sure to get here at low tide when parts of the intertidal region that are usually under water is revealed. Sea urchins, anemones, starfish, and even octopi are especially visible during these times when the moon’s pull is especially strong. In addition to good seal watching, you might even find some good fiddler crabs and snails. Please remember though that tide pools are fragile ecosystems best explored with our eyes, not our hands!
