We use the train a lot! Victoria Street station is 150m up the hill. Trains to the Perth City and CBD depart from platform 1 (nearest side to the ocean) every 15 minutes during the day more frequently during peak travel. the journey takes 20 mins. Trains to theFremantle depart from platform 2 (nearest side to Sterling Highway). The journey takes 6 mins - 2 stops. See Transperth web site to plan a trip. Ticket machines take cash & cards. Its 2 zones to the city $5.10 each way. Interstate senior visitors (over 63) get concessional & free off peak travel.
