Located 30 km from Casa Sara, Palolem is picturesque & one of the most popular beaches of Goa. Enclosed by a thick forest of coconut palms, it is popular amongst family vacationers as well as backpackers and young crowds.

Palolem is a large famous beach located in south Goa close to the town of Canacona. Palolem was once a deserted beach where one could enjoy serene beauty. The beach had a few huts and shacks and a couple of resorts nearby. Palolem beach is located at a distance of 40 kms. from Margao. Over time the beach became a tourist attraction as word spread. Close to Palolem is Butterfly beach. Tourists at Palolem usually hire a boat to take them to butterfly beach.
