The Stone House

The Stone House is set in 24 acres of natural Tasmanian bush in the Arthur Pieman Reserve. This is in the pristine Tarkine Wilderness area. The Stone House is made of stone, beautiful timber and earth rammed walls. We have made a rough track around our block, please explore. The grasslands are home to Bennetts Wallabies, pademelons, tassie devils, wombats, quolls and possums as well as the magnificent wedge tailed and sea Eagles. The coast is wild and untamed and ready to be explored.

Adorable cosy well equipped cabins. Both have amazing ensuites; spa or rain shower, small kitchenettes with a bar fridge, microwave, pots & electric frypan. Great selection of teas, coffee, & sugar, with a treat always left in the fridge. Our balcony is lovely spot to sit & watch the Eagles from or a sunrise/set. At night you can hear the Ringtail Possums, with their dear wee squeaks, while admiring some of the best night skies you’ll ever see. Aroura spotting can be done nearby.

This unique place has a style all of its own. Nestled into the hill on the highest part of our farm sits our newly built 1 bedroom cottage. The space has a fully equiped kitchen, washer dryer combo, internet, smart tv and heating and cooling. Whilst it is only 1 bedroom with a queen bed the sofa does pull out into a bed should you require an additional guest or travelling with a friend.
