In 1834, it was a chicken coop nestled between the house and barn. Today, it's a cozy cabin just a stone's throw away from the villa and venue. From the private, rural setting to the rustic decor, you'll feel as though you've traveled back to simpler times. It's unique, refreshing and oh-so tranquil. Galena Getaway

Peaceful, pet-friendly ($50 fee per reservation) vacation home in the Galena Territory. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, two living rooms, 2 wood fireplaces, screened in porch, upper level porch, deck, firepit, access to owner's club (pool, exercise room and game room), marina and 24 miles of hiking trails. Sleeps up to ten people. (Please ensure your guest count is accurate when you make your reservation. The guest count can be updated if needed. Inaccurate reservations will be charged accordingly. )

🌿 Cozy cabin nestled in the peaceful Wisconsin woods—your perfect getaway. Ulysses Suites, Suite 202

Ulysses Suites has just been completed inside the historic J. G. Schmohl building in the heart of downtown Galena, located at 213-217 S. Main Street. The location is walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops. We have 7 suites and a beautiful lobby that are modern and luxurious, with lots of historical character and texture as a nod to its previous existence as the Grant Hotel from 1895 to 1933. Suite 202 is a gorgeous studio with a huge window seat looking over Main Street.

Brick walkway leads to the cedar deck with Adirondack chairs overlooking the large backyard. Enjoy dinner out on the deck and roast marshmallows over a bonfire at the firepit. The dark sky provides excellent stargazing. Kitchen features full-sized refrigerator, cooking utensils and a variety of spices. Spacious bathroom with a waterfall-style shower. Out in the country but only 1 mile from downtown Galena on historic Stagecoach Trail, this unique lodging experience offers a peaceful setting in the heart of the valley - surrounded by hills, woods and abundant nature. Spend quality outdoor time on the large deck overlooking the fire pit and Stagecoach valley. The house is comfortably and tastefully furnished with a spacious, open floor plan with a full kitchen, 2 large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a large enclosed porch.

The Gadabout is a brand-new camper located at DAT campground on the ATV trails of Lafayette County, nestled in historic Shullsburg, WI. A foodie's delight- Shullsburg is filled with quaint restaurants and cafes located in the beautifully maintained downtown Water Street. The Gadabout is filled with all the amenities you could need and my custom decor. Lafayette County is my home, and I thoroughly enjoy sharing this little corner of Southwest Wisconsin with guests.

Hamilton Goebel House

This house is a historic home that was built in 1833 on land owned by Jamison Hamilton, the founder of Darlington. It is not known if he actually lived in the house,but could be assumed. During your stay you will find bits of history and pictures that have been gathered along the way.It has all the comforts of home. A beautiful four bedroom home that has been completely renovated to reflect the old and new times. This home was on the list to be torn down by the city.
