The great room, master bedroom, hot tub and northwest facing redwood decks all provide land's end views of Point Reyes National Seashore across this pristine estuary. With its own beach for launching kayaks or just doing nothing, this cottage has been a favorite due to its proximity to the water, front-row views of nature and simplicity. As seen in Dwell, Turnbull's Baker House is a Sea Ranch classic Binker Barn resting on 2 acres of redwoods. While it was built in 1968, it's been updated to make sure you have everything you need for a private and relaxing stay: the separate office has monitors and 300+ Mbps internet, the kitchen is fully-equipped, and the garage has a level 2 EV charger and a Peloton. Enjoy the outdoors year-round from the hot tub or the Galanter & Jones heated furniture that overlooks the forest and ocean.

Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

A unique river retreat for relaxing and viewing wildlife. We are minutes from trails and about a 62-mile drive from Lassen Park. Our house has fragile and antique components and is not suited for pets, groups or children. If you are ok with quirky, imperfect, au natural and "wild" (possibility of snakes and spiders) we have your place! With windows along most of the east side, you will almost always have a view of the Sacramento River. This isn't a cookie cutter house—please read listing.
