Fresh OJ, great coffee, organic ingredients from eggs, wonderful pancakes (our son loves the pumpkin pancakes), waffles, omelettes, signature item is their hardwood smoked bacon with brown sugar. Lots of healthy choices, too. You will be happy here for breakfast or lunch. Go early to avoid the crowds.

Super hip and chic pan Asian chain restaurant with amazing decor and ambiance in Disney Springs. Peking duck, dim sum, sushi, steaks, etc. Delicious food, very expensive, but the 36' tall ceilings and glass encased kitchen makes it quite a memorable experience.

Decadence at its best in this San Francisco based gourmet ice cream parlor. Do not let the long lines fool you--this place moves the line fast. Many of the items can be shared by 2-3 people and the kids will love it as much as the adults. Hang out with the kids as they build something cool or build and race their cars at the Lego store across the way and eat ice cream afterwards for a quick fun time.

A great place to see gators of all sizes up close and personal. A manageable park/zoo that also has a nice train ride for $2 per person, a feeding zoo, fun shows for all ages. A fun Ziplining tour is extra and lasts 1 1/2 hours as you zip over the gator ponds (for older kids/adults).

Disney Springs is a safe, comfortable place for strollers, older kids, families. The Lego store has free build your own small cars that you can race right in the store, plenty of restaurants for all budgets, and live music/entertainment every day/night. We've heard great music, watched jugglers, neon hoola hoop acrobats. Also a great Star Wars store, and Disney store (of course). A must see!

If so, you can see launches from pad 39A (most Space X launches) for free off the Max Brewer bridge (park and walk over--plenty of room). We watched the Falcon heavy lift off with the Tesla roadster on board. It was a bucket list experience. You will see lift off smoke, and a clear view of the launch from merely 10 miles away, plus you will hear the sonic boom when the rocket breaks the sound barrier. Best kept local secret.
