Parks & Nature
Public trail starts behind the Simply Gourmet restaurant on Saranac Ave. Go to the back of the parking lot and follow the Jack Rabbit Trail markers. Easy walking trail for families, going to the left brings you to a cross over on Lake Placid lake. Picnic tables are nearby if you brought something to eat.
Great for mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and walking.
When you are done, stop in Simply Gourmet for a delicious meal. You will not be disappointed.

Peninsula WayPublic trail starts behind the Simply Gourmet restaurant on Saranac Ave. Go to the back of the parking lot and follow the Jack Rabbit Trail markers. Easy walking trail for families, going to the left brings you to a cross over on Lake Placid lake. Picnic tables are nearby if you brought something to eat.
