This is a terrific neighborhood Thai restaurant. There's another location on 9th Ave. but I like this one on Irving best. Really casual, friendly service, great food!

Parks & Nature
The Botanical Gardens are huge. Go see the redwood forest, wander around, sit and watch the ducks and turtles in the big pond, hang out by the fountain or bring a picnip and relax. There is a ton to see.

Stow lake is a beautiful place to have a picnic or take a leisurely walk. One of my favorite things to do is to rent a paddle boat and paddle around the lake. There's a huge waterfall, a beautiful pagoda, tons of waterfowl, trees, turtles and other wildlife. It is a really beautiful place to see.

Stow lake is a beautiful place to have a picnic or take a leisurely walk. One of my favorite things to do is to rent a paddle boat and paddle around the lake. There's a huge waterfall, a beautiful pagoda, tons of waterfowl, trees, turtles and other wildlife. It is a really beautiful place to see.
the stadium is a great place if you want to work out or run on a marked track.

Sightseeing
the Japanese Tea Gardens are stunning. They are fun for all ages, it's inexpensive. You can climb the huge bridge, see the giant bhudda, walk across the zen pods on the rock bridges and sit and have tea overlooking the waterfall. Also, the little gift shop has some very nice souvenir type gifts.

75 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drthe Japanese Tea Gardens are stunning. They are fun for all ages, it's inexpensive. You can climb the huge bridge, see the giant bhudda, walk across the zen pods on the rock bridges and sit and have tea overlooking the waterfall. Also, the little gift shop has some very nice souvenir type gifts.
This is an amazing site in the neighborhood. It is a tremendous mosaic tiles steps that go up something like 10 flights, depicting a nature scene from top to bottom. It is a fantastic example of a neighborhood project that now is a city landmark

I know it's hard to believe that we have Buffalo in Golden Gate Park, but we do. They are in an open paddock and part of the SF Zoo. Beautiful to see them and fun for all ages.

Arts & Culture
The De Young is simply spectacular. First off, the sculpture gardens, the observation towers and going into the cafe are all free. And the cafe food is fantastic. The building itself is amazing. Don't forget to check out the gift shop and make sure to see the Ruth Asawa hanging sculptures as you enter the elevator area that takes you to the Observation Tower. Asawa was a SF icon. And the views from the observation tower are truly spectacular
