Locally owned down-home fish house, popular with locals. Tasty food, full bar, and nice employees. A favorite of our family. NOTE: The Crazy Fish couple recently sold it--it's still open and still good but different owners. Crazy Fish owners' daughter opened Melanie's in downtown Lake Wales, which has quickly become a local favorite, so I've added it here, too:).

Just around lake from us, The Crooked Bass is very similar to Crazy Fish in menu and atmosphere. Very casual fish house with great kids area and full bar.

(from Bok Tower website): Bok Tower Gardens boasts one of the greatest works of famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. The historic landscape garden was designed to be a contemplative and informal woodland setting with breathtaking views of the Singing Tower.
Looking up at the 205-foot neo-Gothic and art deco Singing Tower carillon is an experience like no other. The Tower houses one of the world’s finest carillons. Concerts from the 60 bell carillon at 1 and 3 p.m. fill the Gardens daily.
Our review: Walk the trails, eat at Blue Palmetto Cafe, feed fish, listen to the birds--Bok Tower is a slice of Central Florida heaven--new kids area (natural playground) is fabulous!
