Located in the Toco Hills Shopping plaza this place is a not much to look at but has excellent greek food and pizza. Their avgolemono soup is amazing, and generally love their souvlaki and gyros, and their spanikopita pizza. The Greek Festival here uses them for their baklava. Sinful.

Located across from the Toco Hills Shopping plaza, this is the most Italian pizza place around has a great variety of really interesting pizzas. Their buffalo chicken pizza with coleslaw on it sounds weird but is amazing. They also have a decent wine selection.

Former Atlantans crave Mellow Mushroom when they come back home. While it closes somewhat early for a bar, they do have a bar and a patio where people gather for more than just meals.

The “tibs” or grilled chunks of meat are seasoned lightly with peppers and onions and garlic and eaten with your hands using sponge bread. Healthy, interesting and delicious.

I love their deck, even though it overlooks 85. There is a giant tree in the middle and its always great people watching. Inside is good too. My favorite dish is their fajita nachos. They aren't your normal nachos, which I always think I want and am usually disappointed. These nachos you'll crave. It's a good place to watch soccer too.

Popular with the students at Emory, it draws a very young crowd when school is in session and is one of the last places around where you can smoke inside. Cheap drinks, dark, TVs, loud music and pool tables are the main draw. You’ll need a shower and to wash your clothes after leaving.

My true favorite grocery store here is Your Dekalb Farmers Market. This is the largest farmers market in the country and is about 4 miles from here. They have produce from 190 countries (there are 196 countries in the world) flown in daily and the prices are incredibly cheap, especially for organic and sustainable farming practices. Their selections and options for meat, cheese, fruits and vegetables is unparalleled to anything else you have seen. Chefs call it their Disneyland. They are working on expanding it to be the largest grocery store in the world. Wear a jacket, the entire place is chilled to at least 65 degrees with the meat and cheese sections being even colder.
