It has great fresh food, and a warm welcome, it is also a social enterprise and in a great location for the royal mile and all the attractions (Parliament, Palace, Dynamic Earth etc). Child friendly and people willing to chat. Nice mixture of locals, office staff, politicians and tourists on any given day.

Parks & Nature

No Visitor to Edinburgh should miss this! Go to the top. get a sense of how Edinburgh is laid out and see as far as Ben Lomond and the Pentland hills to the south, across the river Forth to the Kingdom of fife. Beautiful panorama al told the best views of Edinburgh. Need to hike a bit though and the last bit is a wee bit steep so not for the feint of heart :-)
