There is already three spots in Vienna where you can find Eisgreissler. Rotenturmstraße in the first district, Neubaugasse and Mariahilferstraße, a huge shopping street. We have ice-cream from Eisgreissler almost every day in summer... You can definitely get addicted.

Supercute café I recently discovered with homemade cakes and a fabulous breakfast. It's almost around the corner of the apartment and thus ideally located if you decide to have breakfast outside. My personal recommendation is the breakfast Josephine Baker and Josefine Mutzenbacher.

A hidden gem that is only to be found if you know about it. It's just a few meters from the appartement. What we like best about it: there is a menu BUT the waiters will ask you if you would like to order something special according to your wishes. And then you are free to tell them whatever you want to be in the drink and they will make a special creation just for you with those ingredients plus whatever is needed. :) We love this place!

Techno from Monday to Sunday. Not easy to find! The door doesn't say Donau or anything else on it. It's simply grey and you have to knock to be led in. Alternatively there might be security standing on the street. So watch out to find it. It's totally worth it.

Currently it is being renovated and the parliament is conducting its meetings in the Hofburg and the Palais Epstein. Nevertheless the guided tours are offered in the Hofburg and they are free of charge. They are given on a daily basis except for public holidays.

The public library there is one of the best ones I know. They have an impressive collection of music supplies from Schubert, Krenek and Wolf. Best part: this library is not very known and thus intimate.

Parks & Nature
Close to Hofburg and Heldenplatz it is one of the most beautiful parks in Vienna. You will find more than 200 different roses and when they are blooming the smell is incredibly nice. It's also nice for a short morning run as it is close to the appartement.

The 2018/2019 schedule includes 50 different operas, 16 different ballets and five children’s programmes. In addition to this there are numerous concerts, matinées and special events.
Tickets are available from EUR 7 to EUR 500. If you want cheaper tickets please consider booking in advance!
BUT there is also standing tickets for EUR 4! Available ONLY 80 min prior to curtain on the day of performance!
