Just off Shanti Path, this is a nicely landscaped garden with lots of walking tracks for fitness enthusiasts and for amateur botanists. To be visited by day only.

Sightseeing
An oft forgotten Museum, it is a must see for anyone interested in the history of the Indian Railways. It has the oldest working steam engine, the Fairy Queen, on display. Open 9.30 AM to 5.30 PM.

Its a very nice Medieval period collection of buildings, including a royal (Khas) tank (Hauz), a seminary, and lots of shops, restaurants & small art galleries for the discerning eye. A must see.

Known for its street display of women's wear. You can find international designer labels at 1/20 to 1/10 the original price. Lots of Indian wear as well. A must for bargain seekers.

DLF Emporio is India's glittering symbol of commerce. Needs lots of patience & time to see. But it has all the high end stores, movie theatres and restaurants. The adjoining DLF Promenade is nice too.

Khan Market has everything from bars, restaurants to up market stores for a bit of retail therapy. Don't forget to visit the Khadi Gram Bhandar for handmade Indian cloth, toiletries, & organic food.

Basant Lok is just 10 minutes away, and a happening place for the young (and not so young!) crowd. It has restaurants, decent stores, some good book shops as well and a nice movie theatre.
