Leoda's homemade meals by a brilliant chef with fresh locally grown foods. Bakery and breakfast and lunch! Try the fried salad (brussel sprouts on local lettuce mix and a homemade citrus dressing that brings all the flavors out). Add a side of Leoda's famous fried chicken and the meal is complete. Top it all off with a Monkey Bread and your finished, until the next day. If you want to make an instant friend get them Leoda's banana bread. Don't miss out!

Parks & Nature
Close beach just Lahaina side of Puamana. A reviewer stated this, "i hadn't heard of Baby Beach until my 80 year old friends were looking for a beach with shallow water that they could get into and out of without having to get past the waves backwash 'trench'. This was it. There was a reef quite a ways out which protected the shoreline. Parents with children would love this. And it was perfect for my friends. They could walk out a quite far and only be up to their waists. Very safe. Very nice beach. Very private. Not much parking though. But that was probably why it was so nice. I would think that there would be good snorkeling on the reef."

Puamana Beach Park is south of Puamana Community Association and is a narrow detrital sand beach, located just south of downtown Lahaina. The beach has a shallow nearshore ocean bottom that extends all the way out to the edge of the reef. Because of that, the swimming conditions are poor. The beach is mainly used by fishermen and surfers, mainly beginners and longboarders since the waves are usually not too big and easy to catch.

Puamana Beach Park is south of Puamana Community Association and is a narrow detrital sand beach, located just south of downtown Lahaina. Launiupoko State Wayside Park has long been a favorite on the west side of the island. It offers visitors a beautiful green grass park setting complete with picnic tables and barbecue stations but it also has a small beach to enter for a short swim and water activities. Located right off the Honoapiilani Highway (Rt 30) a couple miles south of the town of Lahaina this has been a popular gathering place over the years.

Honokohau Ditch Trail is in the Launiopoko neighborhood above Launiopoko Beach Park. It's an amazing trail on relatively flat ground in a gorgeous neighborhood. Easy walking with views that are inspiring to say the least. About a 5 min drive from Puamana or less.

For over a decade, Lahaina Restoration Foundation shared Lahaina’s history and culture with new teachers through its program “History In Our Back Yard.”Twelve teachers representing six West Maui schools were recently provided this free tour to view over 30 historical sites while learning about the important role Lahaina has played in the history of Hawaii. Primarily a walking experience, the tour is led by Kutsunai and committee member Karee Carlucci. Stops on the tour included Kamehameha Iki Park, the Moku’ula Restoration site, the Waiola (Waine’e) churchyard, Lahaina Hongwanji Mission and many Lahaina harborfront sites, including Lahaina Heritage Museum in the Old Lahaina Courthouse.
