The water is crystal clear and speaks of the power of the sea in its waves . (Swim only between the flags )
It is so multi cultural up there at Surfers Beach , the United Nations has nothing on this unique space . Love it .
Completely modestly dressed Arabs stand next to scantily clad Brazilian girls while the Chinese tourists photograph the lot . And the UV rays do not discriminate , everyone burns so SLIP, SLOP , SLAP !

Hota is great for films , live theatre, live music , the Sunday produce markets , swimming at the lagoon . The Gallery is constantly changing their display . Live Comedy in the Basement is fun . It is a lovely walk over the Chevron Bridge along Thomas Drive then left over the Green bridge (which is blue by the way ) Stop in one of many eateries / bars on Chevron Island on the way home as a reward for all that walking .
