Large and beautiful park. Great for exploring, running, watching ducks with the family and just having a good time in. Make sure to see the Zoo elephants, which are visible from the west side of the park.

Beautiful lake with a nice walking/running/biking path around. Great for a morning run, or just a relaxed trip with the family. There is an ice-cream shop on the north side of the lake just at the water.

Great bakery. Try the "Kernespeltbrød" or the carrot-cake. Worth a visit (on a daily basis :)). Consider bringing cake and coffee to the Lindevang Park across the street to enjoy in nature.

One of the best Sushi-dining experiences in Denmark with nice food and a great view from the top of the Tivoli Congress center. Make sure you do cocktails in their sofa-swings after eating - is nice :) Book well in advance!

Voted the best shopping mall in Denmark. Interesting design and many different shops for all desires. Also - there is a nice baker who also has a very nice cafe (Holm) and a Starbucks.

This is a metro station, but you can also rent city-bikes here. The bikes are electric so you can get far around on them.

The s-train station - good for getting to Tivoli/Main train station. Note that it only drives every 20-30 minutes on sundays (every 7-10 on weekdays)

Very nice locally brewed beer. It serves as both a micro-brewery (in the actual building), a bar and a restaurent (watch out with the beer-menu - many small beers can make one big hangover :))

Copenhagen Zoo is a wonderful place to visit. I enjoy the tunnel with the Polar-bears where you can see swim above you, the tropical house as well as the Sawannah with giraffes and gazelles. Also - they have a nice goat petting zoo for the small ones.

The local community center with a library, indoor play/climbing areas for the kids and a little cafe. It is a nice place especially for children between 3 and 10.

It has a great area for children (both small and bigger) with water-slides and hot-water bassins, a nice big swimming area for adults wanting morning exercise (open from 7am) and a spa/wellness area that you can pay for access to (have not tried that part yet).
