The Wallan Market runs on the second Saturday of every month between 9 am and 2 pm and is held in Hadfield Park Wallan.
15 minutes from the cottage. A big market and there's a great kids park, Aldi , Woollies and Coles for some last minute groceries
Hogan's pub is popular and has pokies if that's your thing

Sightseeing
only a 30min drive
The falls are viewed from an observation deck. the best part is the area you can access before the falls. You can pop your feet in the water and get some lovely photos. Nice walk, not to long and smooth. Easy to moderate walk
When you're there
Drinking water is not available at the picnic area, so remember to supply your own.
pack some insect repellent
Please stay on track. Serious injuries have occurred at Masons Falls as a result of visitors climbing over barriers and trying to access the falls.
Visit in winter when the Superb Lyrebird is especially active and often seen foraging at the picnic area and along walking tracks.
