Since the chalet is part of Vertendre, you have free access to lakes and trails. If a patroller asks you for a bracelet, simply tell him that you live at 7 Chemin de la chute.
A hike that we particularly like is to go up the cascades trail and down the Sylvio Lacharité trail. It's about 1h30, a good cardio, but very beautiful.
The Small lake called "La Source" is 5 minutes from the Big Box. At the 4 stop intersection close to the Big box turn left on Gilbert (est direction), there are 2 options:
1- you'll see a path called 'Sentier de la promenade'. Walk for 5 minutes and you'll reach La Source.
2- Continue on Gilbert until you reach 'L'allée Verte' street. Turn right and you'll see the Vertendre guest desk at your left and a path at the end of the parking. Take this path and you'll reach La Source.
At the guest desk, you may rent paddle boards, fat bikes and other.
