Laundromats
I haven't been to a local laundromat in many years, but this one is a longstanding neighborhood establishment. It is closest to the house and it is the one that I used to use back in the day. All of the laundromats that I am listing also have drop off service and the availability of using "apps". Some are newer than others. I really can't recommend one over the other, so this would be my default.

This is the newest laundromat and probably has the most machines with the latest app technology. If you are looking for a larger operation, this "B" the place.😂

Just a short .7mi walk away (and you don't have to cross any major roadway) this diner has an extensive menu, fair prices for today's market and is open daily from 7:30am-10pm

There are so many restaurants in uptown Kingston. Many are good and many come and go. The Hoffman House has been an uptown fixture for years. It is in a historic tavern building. If I had to chose one to recommend during a brief visit, this would be the one.
