Best Amusement park/Zoo in the world per my opinion!!! Toss Disney and their terrible lines! Busch Gardens is rarely busy and the animals are so close that you will be astonished!!! Definitely go if you like rides and animals!! (1.25 hours away is much closer than Disney.)

A place where the community meets each week to enjoy fresh produce, local art, music, demonstrations by local chefs, and free family activities on Old Main Street.
In addition to the weekly shopping and music, the Market hosts special event days throughout the season. Halloween at the Market will be held on Saturday, October 28. This family-friendly event includes trick or treating with vendors, face painting with Manatee School for the Arts Academic Team from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm, and a dance performance by Slick Motion Studios at 10:00 am.

Love Lido beach!! Close to the house and there are great shops and dining at my favorite spot St. Armand’s circle. Chair and umbrella rental is available in the building to the left of the parking lot.
