The M1-metro will connect you with Copenhagen Central Station, ✈️, Vesterbro, Nørrebro, Frederiksberg within a few minutes. It is located 200 m away at the corner of Østerbrogade and Strandboulevarden.

Biking
Download the Donkey Republic App and rent a bike. Its the cheapest (without electricity) but you can park them on many locations. And easily find a new within the app.
If you’re more up for scooters or fast bike’s there is also TIER (app), LIME. Just look for the logo on the vehicle and download the app. Voila!

The old occupied Freetown, built in a closed military base in the 70’s by progressive hippies. There are a lot of nice music venues in there: Loppen, Den Grå Hal, Nemoland, Abegrotten, Christianias Børneteater. Within the last decades the inner street (Pusher street) has been taken over by gangs selling marijhuana openly. They can have an aggressive behavior, but if you avoid this street and just walk around you will see some really beautiful sites, homestyle architecture made by hippies.
