At 45-60 minute drive from Taninges you find the city of Geneva on the borders of Lac Leman. Plenty of musea, shops and sight seeing to be done but be aware that Geneva is expensive! You will need a vignet to travel on the highway in Switzerland. This can be avoided by going to Veyrier and take the smaller routes into the city.

Our preffered ski area in the region! Just take your car and park directly across from the main cable car in Morillon (10 minute drive). Perfect for beginners and experts a like. The 4 village pass gives you access to most of Grand Massif but if you want to go to Flaine you will need the Grand Massif pass.
Beginners can have a good time on the Marvel green piste which is about 5 kilometre long which is rare for a green piste!
If you are looking for a nice long tour then try our Piste des Cascades which is 14 km long and will take you all the way down to Sixt with a 1700 metres altitude drop. Careful though that you don't miss the last bus back as there is no way to ski back from Sixt!
