Great pub on the beach serving drinks and food throughout the year. Always check opening times outside peak season.
As the beach immediately outside gets very crowded I would suggest once you have finished your drinks another 10 minute walk to Life Boat Bay which is a beautiful little beach. Get there early in day as you can as gets very busy in peak months.

Accessibility can be an issue so worth planning ahead.
National Trust 'owned' sand & pebble beach. Access to and from the beach is via 150 wooden stairs down the cliff - not for the faint hearted. You need to go when tide is out (going out).
