The Krystal Restaurant is a lovely place with a romantic atmosphere and excellent food. You can also dine outside on the deck overlooking the beautiful marina and the sunsets are amazing. My favourite dishes are definately the calamari and hake. They also have a delicious buffet breakfast and a R109 special every day (not December) from Monday to Friday.
Buy one get on free cocktail happy hour everyday from 4pm to 3pm at Oohlala Cocktail Lounge.

Beautiful coastal road from Gordon's Bay to Rooi-els with breathtaking views, stunning beaches and braai and camping sites along the way. Stop for coffee at one of the mobiles along the way, have breakfast at Pit Stop or lunch or just a beer at The Drummond Arms in Rooi Els.
This beautiful, coastal drive stretches between the two towns over 21 km, hugging the wild turquoise Cape coastline all the way. If you like passes with lots of corners, then this one is for you, as it contains 77 bends, curves and corners of which four are in excess of 150 degrees. The road is in a beautiful condition and attracts tourists, locals, bikers and cyclists in their droves. Overtaking is fairly limited and in general one can expect to average well below 60 kph.

From the view of the ocean from the parking area to the top of the mountain. And the pools are awesome for a swim! Booking your permit well in advance is essential; only 50 people allowed in per day. Tranquil and beautiful!

From the view of the ocean from the parking area to the top of the mountain. And the pools are awesome for a swim! Booking your permit well in advance is essential; only 50 people allowed in per day. Tranquil and beautiful!

Beautiful blue flag beach with life guards always on duty during the day. Public toilets and outside shower facilities. Good for surfing. Small & intimate beach. Really nice & clean. Soft white Sand with clear waters.

Lovely beach, in a nice area in the town of Strand. Not too busy, nice for quiet walks. Very clean. From Gordon's Bay central to Long Beach is about a ten minute drive.

Absolutely most beautiful place, but make sure to go at LOW TIDE in order to get into the main cave. No stairs so up and down you need good balance and a reasonable fitness level. But so worth it! Popular surfer spot.
