Microbrasserie de Bellechasse / Pub de la Contrée (2020 rue de l'Église, Buckland) is a very nice microbrewery with 6 taps and a kitchen to serve food. They also roast their own coffee beans if you enjoy fresh coffee.

If you are willing to drive a bit further out, the microbrewery Frampton Brasse has a very cool outdoors seating area in a farm setting. It's about 40 minutes from the chalet, but it's also close to the Miller Zoo, so those can easily be combined.

For a bar, the closest is Chez Ti-Blanc also on the Main Street of Buckland. We never tried this one, however, so we can't tell you how it is.
