Food scene
This is a bar and sports grill, and by far my favorite restaurant in town. Very social atmosphere, eating outside in the summer here is always an experience and fun for the entire family with outdoor games or ring toss etc. One day this spring there was a group of about 30 doing yoga! Outdoor games and families welcome.
I always order a taco, they are big and have great sauce, but everything here is great . Nachos are HUGE and feeds 3-4 persons

Great pastries and coffee! A loaf of their bread to bring home is a must. Its a bit of a drive so it is a stop I always take on my way to Wasilla.

This is our launching spot for Kayaking. Whether just an hour around the lake or a 4 hour adventure even further, down the creek... and eventually coming out at the Knik bridge this is a beautiful and fun activity. We have 3 kayaks and lifejackets of every size. Just let us know in advance we are happy to accommodate our guest on this adventure for free. Lots of moose and fish to see on this excursion.
